He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Thompson and Joyce Receinllo; and his grandson Kirtus Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Joan Thompson; his brother David Receinllo; his children, Marc Thompson (Sharon) of Graysville Tennessee, Tiffany Sawyer (Horace) of Pikeville Tennessee, Brandee Gill (Beto) of Canton, N. C and Shellie Thompson (Brian Yarbrough) of Hixson, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Caleb (Samantha), Garrett, Ashely Sutton (James), Mercedees, Logan, Cody (Hope Clay), Taylor (Aaron Knight) and Mattie (Aiyden Butler); and his great grandchildren, Landon, Benjamin, Axl, Scarlett and Sterling.
