In the sacred silence of farewell, Edith is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Edith's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill and Clater; her husband Floyd; and her son Bruce. She is survived by: her children, Scott and Greta; and her grandchildren, Liz (Jay) and Josh (Morgan). She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren; a brother and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
