She was predeceased by: her husband William L. Johnson, Jr.; her parents, Nell Mae and Marshall DeLong; and her sister Donna DeLong Shull. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Johnson Cross and Andrew DeLong Johnson (Lizabeth Emenecker Johnson); and her grandchildren, Ellie Grace Cross, Lillian Hensley Sims, Caroline Abigail Johnson, William Douglas Johnson and Jack Phillip Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in her honor to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
