It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Cheek Mize (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Erbie Gail Mize; her son William C. Mize; and her sister Nancy DeFriese. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Mize Tester (Gary); her brothers, Floyd and Glenn Cheek; her grandchildren, Abigail Hughes (Erika), Emma Tester, Tessa Mize Munroe and William Mize; and her great grandchildren, Kira Allen, Vincent Allen, Henry Farmer and Gail Munroe.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ann's name to Shepherd Spinal Center or Brainerd Baptist Church.
