With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eugene Gustav Jung (Chattanooga, Tennessee), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eugene Gustav left this world on August 4, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Smith Jung; his sons, Eugene Adam Jung (Kathryn) and Nicholas Anthony Jung; his stepsons, Josh Aslinger (Jennifer) and Travis Dunn (Lauren); his grandchildren, Harlyn Cate Jung and Jack Everett Jung; and his sisters, Patricia Malia Miller (Jack), Christine Rodman (Robert), Marlene Biava (Ron) and Heidi Nitka.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home – North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, the National Park Association, or that you honor his memory by sharing a laugh with someone you love – preferably around a campfire.
