He was predeceased by: his parents, Savella Davis and Randolph Runyons; his uncle John; his aunt Rhoda Shiflett; his sister Lois Blair (Rachel); his son Eugene Runyons Jr.; his grandchildren, Spencer Woods, Roselyn Runyons and Eugene Runyons III; his aunt Hazel; and his uncle Robert Ramsey.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Ragsdale, Candee Ware (Milo) and Nathan Runyons (Shryle); his goddaughter Dale Enos; his daughter-in-law Shirley Runyons; his niece Felicia Blair; his nephews, Titus Blair, Everette Blair (Connie) and Michael Blair; and his cousins, Margaret Tate and Lisa Smith (Button). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family.
