She was predeceased by: her husband William Shelton. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Scoggins, Mary Mack, Tina Shelton and William Shelton; and her grandchildren, Angelique Broom, Belaine Currie, Ashton Nichole Bankston and Nicholas Esquivel. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many cherished family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley View Chapel (7414 Old Lee Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (7414 Old Lee Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37421).
