Frances Moore Davenport Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Moore Davenport (Chattanooga, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Frances may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Frances touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Davenport; her parents, Clarence Moore and Beulah Moore; and her siblings, Edwin Moore, Mildred Cagle, Aileen Colins and Joyce Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald K. Davenport of Smyrna, GA and Sharon Gaston (Jim) of Moody, AL; and her sister Flora Moore. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
