She was predeceased by : her parents, Lula Stolpmann and Joseph Stolpmann; her former life partner Daniel Mayo Barger; her husband Allen Heard Newell; and her siblings, Benjamin Stolpmann, Michael Stolpmann, Nicholas Stolpmann, Fred Stolpmann, Leo Stolpmann, Pauline Stolpmann, Agnes Harris and Helen Vanderslice.
She is survived by : her children, Diane Brown, Francine Labbe and Chuck Newell (Jen); her sisters, Genevieve Bowman and Mary Catherine Marshall; her grandchildren, Danette, Ellie, Alyx, Evan, Riley, Tessa and Zoe (Hudson); and her great grandchildren, Zander and Ambrose.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Hearth Hospice, 513 Georgia Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
