He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Daniel and Stella Daniel; his siblings, Garvie Daniel, Margaret Weddle, Elbert Daniel and Julian Daniel; and his granddaughter Grace Morrow Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Zelda Morrow Daniel; his daughters, Julie Davis (Kent) and Donna Penney (Tommy); his grandchildren, Jessica Kuenzli (Max), Tanner Penney (McKenzie), Kendall Guinn (Ethan) and Aubrey Penney (Brandon Crawley); his great grandchildren, Tate, Truett and Millie May; and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Morrow and Willa Dean Daniel. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
