He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Moore; and his mother Dorothy Rigsby. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Commee, Melissa Gilbert and Rhonda Bates. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga Memorial Park (501 Memorial Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37415).
