Fred Joseph Lewis Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 21, 2025, at the age of 79, Fred Joseph Lewis Jr. (Chattanooga, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Fred leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lewis and Mary Lewis (Bowlin); and his son Chad Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Karen Elaine Lewis; his daughter Amy Hulgan (Ashley); his grandson Alex Standefer; and his siblings, Philip A. Lewis (Linda) and Nancy Lewis Kendall. He is also survived by nieces, cousins, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
