He was predeceased by: his wife Olivia Kenemer; and his parents, William Claude and Mary Frances Mayfield. He is survived by: his children, Joshua Claude Mayfield, Elizabeth Anne Mayfield and Amy M. Mayfield-Cox (Mitchell Cox); his brother Randy; his sister-in-law Renee Mayfield; his grandson Holden Mackey; and his close friend Rhonda Gage (Gayle Parks). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
