He was predeceased by: his parents, James Samuel Durham and Ethel Strouth Durham; his wife Betty Barkley Durham; and his siblings, Lloyd Durham, Vernie Durham, Edward Durham, William Durham, Clifford Durham, Mildred Bishop, Lonetta Nance and Novella Killingsworth.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Durham, James Durham, Scott Durham, Eric Durham (Amy), Robbie Durham, Rose Dempsey (Don) and Brittany Hood (Destry). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Francis Cemetery.
