He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Settles and Virginia Settles. He is survived by: his wife Helen Settles; his siblings, Sue Settles and Mark Settles (Becky); his nephews, Adam Settles (Blair) and Tyler Settles (Chelsey); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Murphy, Amory, Eleanor and Les.
