He is survived by: his brothers, Gary Payne (Anita) and Tracy Payne; his stepchildren, Gary Ivey (Mindy) and Christy Johnson (Greg); his niece Beth Perry; his nephew Dalton Payne; and his close friend Jeff Betty.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
