He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Marie Jolley and Elbert Carson Goforth; and his brothers, Bobby Goforth and Junior Goforth. He is survived by: his wife Karen Goforth; his children, Paige Hensen, Ami Ingle and Justin Ingle; his grandchildren, Brooklynn Ingle, Dawson and Henry Ingle; and his siblings, Frances Griffith, MaryAnn Runion, Linda Mangrum and Bill Goforth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
