It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Padgett of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on May 15, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jeanne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jeanne farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Rozzelle and Lodema Rozzelle; her husband Guy Padgett; and her sister Janice Ainsworth. She is survived by: her children, Aimee Taylor (Richey) of Harrison, Tennessee, Skip Padgett (Chris) of Ringgold, Georgia and Amanda Atkins (Jeff) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Robyn Perry (Micah), Rachel Mathes (Geoffrey), Emily Padgett and Pete Padgett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
