He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Owen Morris and Thelma Harris Morris; and his brother Joseph W. Morris. He is survived by: the mother of his children Shelby Davis Morris; his children, Sandra Smith (Charles) of Chatsworth, GA, J. Lamar Morris of Ringgold, GA and Gay Hardin (Gregg) of Chattanooga, TN; his sisters, Ann Harrison of Chattanooga, TN, Sharon Morris of Chattanooga, TN and Sara Swearingen (Bill) of Chattanooga, TN; his grandchildren, Jeremy Smith (Becca) of Chatsworth, GA, Kacey Thompson (Jeremy) of Chatsworth, GA, Ben Clark of Ringgold, GA, Hannah Clark of Ringgold, GA, McKenna Hardin of Ringgold, GA, Allen Hardin (Sydney) of Ringgold, GA and Brittany Deal (Chris) of Rossville, GA; and his great grandchildren, Lane, Luke, Eli, Jack Smith, Emma Kate, Carter Thompson of Chatsworth, GA, Raelynn and Logan Hardin of Ringgold, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
