He was predeceased by: his parents, Madelyn Marie Dye and Willis Dye; his siblings, Marjorie Dye, Karen Dye and George "Butch" Dye; and the mother of his children Carolyn Ritchie.
He is survived by: his children, Brandy Miller (Blaine), Jimmie Dye (Diana), David Dye, Brandon Dye (Cindra) and Cain Mathis; and his siblings, Carl Dye, Thomas Dye, Robert Dye (Sandy), Wayne Dye (Betty), Timmy Dye (Anita), Jane Dye and Debbie Dye. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren.
