He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Eleanor (Watts) and Watson Dale Cook; his brother Watson'Dale'Cook Jr.; and his son Thomas Dale Cook. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Cook (Suzy); his children, Loraine Young (Joe) of Ringgold, GA, Bradley Humble (Susan) of Indialantic, FL and Brandon Humble of Chattanooga; his grandchildren, Emily Crider (Jacob) of Ringgold, GA, Micah Young of Augusta, GA, Devin Humble of Chattanooga and Gabby Cowden (Austin) of Chattanooga; his great grandchildren, Birdie Crider and Goldie Crider; and his sisters, Gene Layfield of Adams, TN and Susan (Allen).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lane Funeral Home Coulter Chapel (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
