He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Horton, Sr. and Louise W. Horton; his wife Nadia R. Horton; and his brother Tommy Horton. He is survived by: his sons, Joey (Teresa) of Chattanooga and Terry (Kaye) of Chattanooga; his grandsons, Joseph (Lauren) of Winchester, TN and Patrick (Diana) of Chattanooga; and his great grandchildren, Elise, Neely Jane, Avery, Olive, Clara Jo and Vance. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
