She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Alvin Starks and Margaret Paris Starks; and her siblings, Iris Starks Stigall and Gerald David Starks. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Glenn; her daughters, Erin Glenn and Kara Thompson (Derrick); her grandson Dylan Derrell Thompson; and her siblings, Reginald Starks (Shirley), Eric Starks (Marie) and Lucile Phillips (William). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John P. Franklin Funeral Home (1101 Dodds Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Warren Chapel AME Church (503 N Market St, Chattanooga, TN 37405).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a scholarship fund established in Karen's honor.
