He is survived by: his children, Tayler Smith of Dalton, GA and Brandon Smith (Amy) of Sale Creek; his grandsons, Bryson Smith and Hudson Nicoson; and his siblings, Dale Smith of Knoxville and Cheryl Smith of Middle Valley.
