He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Lyon and John Lyon; his sister Betty Hall; his siblings-in-law, Bill Hall, J. D. Odom and Betty Odom; his brother Dick Lyon; his sister-in-law Joan Droke; and his in-laws, Dana and Mary Ruth Odom.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Jessica; his pets, Bowie of Chattanooga and June of Chattanooga; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Droke and Kathy Lyon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter or to Lynn Garden Baptist Church's memorial fund or J.A.M. Ministry.
