She was predeceased by: her brother Sammy Smith. She is survived by: her husband Dewayne Chastain; her daughters, Lynn Henderson (Mark) and Dawn Cobb (Shane); her grandchildren, Brock and Addie; her sisters, Karen Jackson, Barbara Keys (Dennis) and Geannie Smith (Terry); and her mother Edna O'Conner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
