She was predeceased by: her daughter Tommie Baxter; her parents, Miles Walters and Dorthula Walters; and her siblings, Lilly Carter, Linda Walters and Mickey Walters.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Pickett; and her children, Dottie Cagle, Tracey McConnell (Howard), Lorraine Josey and Norris Baxter. She is also survived by many grandchildren, as well as great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
