She was predeceased by: her parents, Neville Blankenship and Joyce Brakebill Blankenship; her cousin Johanna Jett McGlothlin; and her brother-in-law Joe Thoresen. She is survived by: her husband David; her sons, Russell and Philip (Jen); her grandsons, Carter and Miller; her siblings, Joyce Osborne "Oz" Thoresen, Bill (Pat), David (Kathy) and Bert Blankenship (Donna); her cousins, Julia Jett Reedy (Allen) and Burch Jett (Nancy); and her brother-in-law John Torbett (Viddia). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members including David's Aunts and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Calendar Tyner United Methodist Church (6805 Standifer Gap Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421).
