She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Frank Wood and Mary Elizabeth O'Daniel Wood; and her siblings, Ben, Roger, John Wood, Mary Bohm and Peggy Floyd.
She is survived by: her children, Margie Posey of Chattanooga, Steve Burnette of Cleveland and Charlotte Justice (Larry) of Ooltewah; and her husband Charles E. Meroney. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
