She is survived by: her children, Carol Carden (Chris), Gary Erwin (Cheryl) and Tim Erwin (Marlene); her grandchildren, Chris Smith (Paul), Katie Thompson (Wes) and Kyli Erwin; her great grandchildren, Alley Thomas, Layla, Margo Smith, Benjamin Thompson and Thia Thompson; her adoptive daughter Deborah White; her sisters-in-law, Tommie Kaye Layman, Shirley Cofer and Betty Scott; her sibling's children, Kayo Erwin, Jr. and Sandy Erwin; and her close friends, Sabrina Lucas, James Daniels, Curtis Powell (Jill), Melissa McCranie and Ophelia Blake.
