He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda Cabe Waddell; his parents, Walter Hoyt Waddell and Ruth Morton Waddell; his brothers, David Waddell, Gary Waddell, Roger "Skeet" Waddell and Kenny Waddell; his children, Michael Waddell and Michelle Waddell Baker; and his sister-in-law Geneva Waddell.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Geffre (Scott) and Mark Waddell (Heather); his grandchildren, Tabbitha Stewart (Johnathan), Christopher Waddell, Madyson Waddell (Alex), Kelton Waddell (Maddie), Haley Waddell, Kaley Waddell (Garrett), Makenzie Waddell (Austin) and Michael Geffre; his great grandchildren, Isaac Baker, Leah Baker, Lexi Dockery, Austin Burton, Paislea Fincher, Omar Delacruz and Elijah Burton; his siblings, Doyle Waddell (Gigi), Linda Horton Waddell, Judy Waddell Lipscomb and Glen Waddell; his son-in-law James Baker; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Waddell, Vickie Waddell and Betty Waddell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
