Mary Ann Rooks Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ann Rooks (Chattanooga, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Slaten and Mary Louise Henderson Slaten; her brother Richard Slaten; and her parents-in-law, Kenneth and Jo Rooks.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Rooks; her children, Holly Grenvicz (Joe) and Brad Rooks (Jill); her grandchildren, Lyla, Betsy, Clay, Hope and Hayden; and her brothers, Randy Slaten, Rob Slaten (Bettye) and Scott Slaten (Peggy). She is also survived by extended family, friends.
