It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary D Swanson (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Davis (A. L.) and Mary Ellen Dawson Davis; and her siblings, Thurlo Davis, Tressie "Gram" Pierce, Leo Davis, Cleo Davis and Ray Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Swanson, Jr.; her daughter Nan Swanson Hammonds; and her son-in-law Samuel Hammonds. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
