She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Howard; her parents, Hubert Ford and Flossie Ford; and her sisters, Ruby Louise and Sharon Hood.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Howard (Denise), Barbara Gregory (Mark), Steve Howard, Connie Harris (Randy), Mike Howard, Virgil Howard (Jerrianne) and Timothy Howard (Brandy); and her siblings, Dove Johnson (Evan), Phyllis Stokes (John), Bud Ford, Charles Ford, Sissy Long (Rodney), Gail Shadwick and Debbie Tanner. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Turner Funeral Home (3913 Webb Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37416). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
