She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Kimbro Keene and Irma Lucia Beale Keene. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence "Larry" Phillips Jr.; her children, Lindsay Roga (Mike) and Brett Phillips (Stephanie); her brothers, Jon Keene (Ruth), Mike Keene (Barbara), Chris Keene and Richard Keene; and her grandchildren, Luke, Owen Roga, Payten, Sullivan and Liza Lu Phillips. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In keeping with Mary Lu's final wishes, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory in lieu of flowers.
