She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Jackson and Nadine Scruggs Rucker; and her son William G. Kennedy III. She is survived by: her husband Nathaniel Kirk; her children, Nathaniel J. Kirk of Atlanta, GA, Lawrence G. Kirk (Mildred) of Cleveland, TN and Nadine N. Kirk of Chattanooga, TN; and her granddaughter Kimberly N. Kirk of Chattanooga, TN.. She is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
