With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Wayne Nelms (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on January 12, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nelms, Sr. and Ethel Nelms; and his wife Vickie Nelms. He is survived by: his siblings, William Nelms, Jr. (Jan) and Carol White; his sister-in-law Dee Dee Moore (Joe); his nephews, Josh Nelms (Beth), Nicholas White and Joe Moore (Kate); and his niece Erin Enloe (Ben).
