He is survived by: his wife Virginia Godbole; his children, Ameet Godbole, Anjali Preston and Adarsh Godbole (Lauren); his grandchildren, Jacob Preston, Chloe Godbole, Lillian Godbole and Emily Godbole; and his brother Anant Godbole (Kalpana). He is also survived by three nieces.

He will be remembered for his contributions to medicine and, most dearly, for his place in the hearts of his family.
