Nancy Sue Summers Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 12, 2026, at the age of 92, Nancy Sue Summers in Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nancy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Nancy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Dwight Summers; and her sisters, Margaret Fulton (Herman) of Winston-Salem, N. C., Pauline Hedgecock (Bill) of Winston-Salem, N. C. and Ester Whitley (Gibson). She is survived by: her sons, Alan Summers of Cleveland, TN and Brian Summers (Cyndi) of Cleveland, TN; and her granddaughters, Stephanie Jones (Brian) and Tiffany Rich (Caleb). She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
