He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Cunningham West; and his siblings, Patsy Lou West, Pearl West Smith, Isaiah Deloy West, Reverend Joseph West, Dexter Floyd West, James Wallace West, Elizabeth Ball and Geneva Devine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Charlotte West, Katheryn Herron (Glenn) and Patti Greenlee (Greg); his grandchildren, Billy Herron, Eric Herron (Denise) and Chrissy (Beau); and his brother Paul West. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
