She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Everett Ward of Clinton, Kentucky and Theresa Hilda Jackson Ward of Clinton, Kentucky; her brother Philip Everett Ward; and her husband Lowell Lovett Jones. She is survived by: her sons, Joe Franklin (Jennifer) of Chattanooga and Tim Franklin (Alycia) of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; her stepchildren, Jeff Jones of Cleveland and Jennifer Martin (Alan) of Jackson, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Carter, Sydney, Jack, Abigail, Walker Franklin, Callie Bennett and Campbell; and her sister-in-law Kay Ward of Springboro, Ohio..
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial gifts be made to the ABIDE Respite Ministry at First Centenary United Methodist Church, the Chattanooga Symphony, or Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center.
