Pearline Ensley Forester Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearline Ensley Forester of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 94. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Alvin Ensley; her husband John Forester; her parents, James Forrester and Dexter Forrester; and her sister Christine Davis.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sonjia Lee Hunt (Walter) and Eleandra Van Hooser (Gary); her granddaughters, Alana Haney (Charles) and Yahna Latham (Logan); her great grandchild Elliot Latham; and her granddaughter Maggie Grace. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews who along with her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (404 S Moore Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37412). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hamilton County Memorial Park (8900 Dallas Hollow Rd, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379).
