He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Pam Sprouse (Bob), Greg Carter (Carol) and Kevin Carter; his grandchildren, Seth Gentry (Mary Anna), Tyler Gentry (Kim), Hunter Gentry (Ashley), Brynnen Carter (Macie), Dylan Carter and Kelsey McGill; and his children, Garrett, Harlee, Belle, Zain, Beau, Colt, Zoey, Nolan, Mya, Lukas, Amelia and Elijah.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services (7454 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Baptist Church (4501 Bonny Oaks Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37416).
