He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Dixon; and his brother Jack C. Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Edanna Shell Dixon; his children, Rick Dixon (Gina), Tom Dixon (Diane) and Kim Dixon Farr (Skip); and his grandchildren, Rachel Capiz (Jesus), Amy Dixon, John Dixon (Jenni), Gaby Dixon, Drew Farr (Maddie), Lucas Farr and Abby Hansen (Peyton).
