He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Blasdell and Ruth Blasdell; and his siblings, William "Bill" Blasdell, Dorothy Bolsenga and Judy Malick.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Blasdell of Hixson, TN; his children, Mike Blasdell (Heather) of Riviera Beach, FL, Cindy Pembroke (Jim) of Marietta, GA, Cathy Iconis (Mike) of Atlanta, GA, Kim Mitchell (Mike) of Hixson, TN and Kelley Hutchins (Jimmy) of Hixson, TN; his siblings, Louise Kuntzelman of Windsor, CO and Grant Blasdell (Alison) of Rochester, IL; and his grandchildren, Sophie Iconis, Izzy Iconis of Atlanta, GA, Emily Worley (Tyler), Wes Hutchins (Ashley) and Luke Hutchins (Kirbee). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
