He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Durby and Mary Zoe Durby; his in-laws, Ben and Ethelyn Hold; and his brother-in-law Bob Jamison.
He is survived by: his wife Vicka; his children, Machelle Hall (Tom) and Mark (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Anna Barron, Abby, Arabella and Isaac; his great grandchild Ell; and his sisters, Lynne Jamison and Carol Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Red Bank Baptist Church (4000 Dayton Blvd, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5351 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Red Bank Baptist Church.
