It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Carolyn Bridges of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Weaver and Anna Maude Weaver; her husband Milton Bridges; her siblings, Robert Weaver and Linda Smith; and her cousin Gayle Daugherty.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Newsom (Randy), Alvin Daugherty and Brad Daugherty (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Christopher Meyers, Sarah Daugherty, Davey Daugherty (Cheri), Caroline Ozborn (George), Anna Daugherty, Travis Meyers, Peyton Daugherty, Nicholas Daugherty and Gracie Daugherty; her great grandchildren, Felicity Daugherty and Mikah Daugherty; and her sister-in-law Linda Weaver.
