Sandra Warner Obituary
We announce the death of Sandra Warner (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 83. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mouzon Bishop Peters and Mary Alice Webb Peters. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Gilman Warner of Lookout Mountain; her daughters, Talley Whittington Warner Carroll of Lookout Mountain and Katherine Gilman Warner of Chattanooga; her grandchildren, Margaret Reed Carroll of Cleveland, TN., Douglas Wesley Carroll and Mikayla Isabell Beard Carroll of Chickamauga, GA.; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Warner (Porter Warner) of Signal Mountain and Lis Warner; and her caregivers, Laura Lancaster, Brooke Gilbert and Sandra. She is also survived by many nieces and a nephew.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (211 Franklin Rd, Lookout Mountain, TN 37350).
Donations may be made in Sandra's memory to: Church of the Good Shepherd, Lookout Mountain, the Chattanooga Humane Society, McCamey Animal Center, Friends of the Zoo in Chattanooga, the Houston Museum, and St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
