She was predeceased by: her siblings, Wilkey Newson, McKinley Newson, Oby Newson, Bobby Newson and Pat Frizzel.
She is survived by: her husband H. Lee Hartman; her son George Newson; her stepdaughter Tiffany Hartman; her brother David Newson; and her grandchildren, Jessica Brown, Austin Howard and Liam Ellard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
