He was predeceased by: his father Homer Dobbs (Bud); his grandparents, Carthell Dobbs, Joyce Dobbs, Mattie Shipp Dobbs, Clarence and Mattie McSpadden; and his pet Biscuit.

He is survived by: his significant other Jessica Miller-Dobbs; his mother Brenda Dobbs; his siblings, Christy Dobbs-Leffew (Brian) and Clarence H. Dobbs (Kim); his parents-in-law, Ron and Nancy Baumer; his brother-in-law Josh Baumer (Jennifer); his siblings' children, Derick, Drew (Mercee), Brett, Jessica (Brett) and Catie (Corey); his pet Chloe; his uncle Neil McSpadden; and his aunt Laura Hancock.
